 I have been a stylist since 1990 with much advanced training and continous education. Now my kiddos are starting school full-time and my living arrangements have changed (long story- I don't mind sharing :) I have moved my beauty equipment to a space in Niwot where I am taking clients (the space is more room than I need so I'm turning the front half into a boutique).  I would love to build my clientele to the point of being busy full time. SO- I'm offering $20 haircuts, $35 colors, and  $15 off highlights to new clients.. of anyone I haven't done in the past 6 months. Offer is good from now to 7/31.

Something new and exciting!!!

I'm very excited to announce that I am finally following an idea that tuned into a dream I have had for a very long time and have opened a Second Hand Bridal Boutique! This store will carry all the things that brides buy for the wedding (if you have ever been married then you know there are a ton of things you run out and get and use only once). I have found the perfect location right next to a seamstress in Niwot Colorado (361 2nd Ave Suite 101), a quaint town between Longmont and Boulder, now I need to stock it. The best part is I have a wonderful space in the back of the store set up to do bridal beauty practice appointments!

New again!

This is my first post on my new blog. Feeling a little pressure to say something witty, clever but I've got nothing!
Maybe it would be a good idea to explain why I have a new blog and website. My motivation comes from the fact that my kids are both in school this fall. This gives me the time to do grown up things and get back to my first love, those soft yet complicated looking formal hairstyles that allow me to channel all of my creativity.
I began loving doing updos whil working in the salon. I was the go-to girl when brides would call. I suppose I became good at them from my years as a beauty school instructor, teaching hairstyling, using rollers and the fine art of proper backcombing.
When I became a mom and quit working it occurred to me that I could still service brides by going to them! This was a beautiful situation for me, I worked on the weekends while my husband stayed home with the little guy. I got to go to beautiful locations along the front range, witnessing happy people come together in an excited fashion.
Then two things happened that made me decide to stop for a while. My husband began traveling a lot with his job causing me to arrange child care and baby number two :)
After a five year break I'm excited to get back to the brides!
