Old New Borrowed Blue's Niwot CO studio
On-location on your wedding day to create your unforgettable bridal look. Get gorgeous hair & flawless makeup! Here's how it works.
The Consultation
Start with a hair and makeup consultation in Old New Borrowed Blue's Niwot CO studio.
Bring your favorite looks pulled from magazines, your jewelry, photos of your gown and a camera to capture your finished look.
Your stylist spends about two hours working one-on-one with your hair, makeup and accessories to create your personalized bridal style.
The Wedding Day
The stylist arrives on time and on location with a full selection of makeup and professional styling tools for you and your wedding party.
This specialized service allows you to get ready at home, at the hotel, the ceremony site or anywhere you choose. Having your hair and makeup done on site rather than at a salon minimizes stress and allows you and your wedding party the time to sit back, relax and have fun.
If your bridesmaids and mothers are also having their hair and makeup done, we will send additional stylists to expedite the process and ensure everyone in your wedding party is ready on time and looking fabulous.

I have some new tricks up my sleeve!
This past week I attended a hair show in Denver. It reminded me that although I am a good stylist who can whip an up do... up like nobody's business It doesn't hurt to learn a few new tricks, see what's new and do a whole lotta serious of shopping on the showroom floor!
Don't worry... I think the last two are a little too crazy for real life too!

New again!
This is my first post on my new blog. Feeling a little pressure to say something witty, clever but I've got nothing!
Maybe it would be a good idea to explain why I have a new blog and website. My motivation comes from the fact that my kids are both in school this fall. This gives me the time to do grown up things and get back to my first love, those soft yet complicated looking formal hairstyles that allow me to channel all of my creativity.
I began loving doing updos whil working in the salon. I was the go-to girl when brides would call. I suppose I became good at them from my years as a beauty school instructor, teaching hairstyling, using rollers and the fine art of proper backcombing.
When I became a mom and quit working it occurred to me that I could still service brides by going to them! This was a beautiful situation for me, I worked on the weekends while my husband stayed home with the little guy. I got to go to beautiful locations along the front range, witnessing happy people come together in an excited fashion.
Then two things happened that made me decide to stop for a while. My husband began traveling a lot with his job causing me to arrange child care and baby number two :)
After a five year break I'm excited to get back to the brides!
